INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 – 3 large. ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 packed dark brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
1/4 c. milk
1 large egg
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a standard sized loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Combine bananas, both sugars, melted butter, milk and egg in medium bowl and mix to blend.
Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
Pour into prepared pan and bake about 50 minutes, until bread is set , top is golden brown, and tester inserted into center comes out clean.
